Visa / Invitation Letter

Visa Informaiton

All foreign visitors must ensure that they meet or possess entry requirements as stated by the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). Visit the ICA entry requirements page for detailed information.

Countries / Regions which require a visa for entry into Singapore

Find out if you require a VISA to enter Singapore by visiting the ICA VISA Requirements page. A Singapore visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid Singapore visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the ICA officers at the point of entry. Possession of a valid visa alone does not guarantee entry into Singapore. The period of stay granted is shown on the visit pass endorsement given on your passport and it is not tied to the validity of your visa.

Visa-Free Transit Facility

Nationals of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Georgia, India, The People's Republic of China (PRC), Turkmenistan and Ukraine may be eligible for the Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF)

Invitation Letter

A Letter of Invitation serves as proof that your paper submission and registration have been accepted by the conference committee. This letter may assist with your visa application; however, please note that it does not guarantee visa approval.

1. The invitation letter will be issued only after your registration is complete and full payment has been received. To request the invitation letter, please send an email to raai_conf@robotics.ac.cn, along with your registration details.

2. Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any discrepancies between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documents may lead to delays and/or denial of your visa application.

3. Please note that RAAI Conferences and the organizing committee of the conference are not authorized to assist with the visa process beyond providing the Notification of Invitation Letter issued by RAAI Conferences and the conference Committee Board. Should your visa application be denied, RAAI Conferences and the organizing committee are not responsible for changing the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), nor will they engage in any discussions or correspondence with the MOFA or the Embassy on your behalf. The registration fee is non-refundable in the event of visa denial.

4. The visa application process typically takes about one month at the Embassy. Please register as early as possible to allow sufficient time for processing.
